Science and Technology of Intensified Processes - STPI

The activities of the Intensified Process Science and Technology (STPI) department are focused on the design, extrapolation, control and safety of intensified processes. One of the key positions of the department lies in a scientific approach favoring the production scale as an objective and closely associating technology, product and process. To meet these objectives, the department is structured around four themes allowing the integration of the various knowledge and skills that are necessary for the implementation of this approach:

  • Contact, mixing and micro-structured technologies
  • Reactive separations
  • Supercritical CO₂ processes
  • Intensification methodology and process safety
